Our Winter 2025-26 issue will have a special focus on the climate crisis. Read the submission call-out here if you have not already done so.
All work submitted should relate to this topic. The work must be previously unpublished and it must not be under consideration elsewhere.
We are only accepting submissions of fiction and poetry during this submission round.
The submission round will close at 5pm Irish time on Thursday May 15th.
Writers may only submit work to us under one category per submission period.
Your work should always be just as long (or as short) as it needs to be.
If you are sending us a novel extract, please don’t send us your full novel! Just a chapter or a section or a story-length passage will suffice, so long as it can be enjoyed as a standalone piece.
For poetry submissions, you may send up to 3 poems in English or Irish. Your poems should be submitted together in one single document.
We are not accepting submissions of Non-Fiction during this submission window.
