The writer of the story must be aged 18 or over and must not yet have published fiction with The Stinging Fly, either in the magazine or online.
The writer must be either resident on the island of Ireland or consider the island of Ireland to be their home.
One previously unpublished story to be submitted per writer.
The story must be no more than 3000 words in length.
The story needs to be uploaded here as an attachment.
The author’s name should not appear anywhere on the document.
The story should be set in font size 12 (minimum) and use 1.5 or double line spacing.
